Hosting automation or client billing?

Do you need WHMCS for your hosting business?

Choose from the work your business actually needs: hosting provisioning, recurring billing, customer self-service and domain workflows.

Complete account setup, then activate Business at checkout. Selecting a plan does not activate paid features.

Choose the billing workflow your customers need

WHMCS already includes recurring billing, invoices and a client area. PayRequest fits when you want a hosted billing portal and subscription management, and have checked how your hosting services will continue to run.

Client billing and self-service

Offer customers a branded place to view and pay invoices, download PDFs and manage supported subscription actions.

Recurring client payments

Create recurring invoices or collect automatically through an eligible payment mandate. Verify the provider and mandate before the first renewal.

Hosting automation dependencies

Keep or replace the system responsible for cPanel/Plesk provisioning, service suspension and registrar modules. PayRequest is not a drop-in replacement for every WHMCS module.

When should you keep WHMCS?

Keep WHMCS when its provisioning modules, reseller operations or registrar automation are essential and a replacement has not been tested. Choose a separate billing portal when customer self-service and recurring payments are the main job, and you can account for all remaining service workflows. Running two systems is an integration project, not an automatic synchronization feature.

Check my migration

Questions before switching

Can PayRequest replace my WHMCS customer portal?

PayRequest Business provides a billing customer portal for invoices and supported subscription actions. Assess hosting services, domain operations, support and installed modules separately before replacing your entire WHMCS client area.

Can I keep WHMCS for hosting automation?

You can plan separate billing and provisioning responsibilities, but you need a defined integration and one billing owner. Do not assume payment, cancellation or suspension events synchronize automatically.

Will existing cards and SEPA mandates transfer automatically?

Not necessarily. Eligibility depends on the provider, account, mandate and integration. Confirm this before migration; some customers may need to authorize a new method.

Which PayRequest plan is intended for this workflow?

Business is €20/month and includes the customer portal and recurring billing. Complete setup and activate the paid plan at checkout. Standard platform payment fees are 0% while active, with provider fees and commission-payment exceptions separate.
