Payment links →Use an eligible Stripe deposit authorization. Check the actual expiry, inspect and make a final capture or release.
Vacation-rental deposits →Verify the local calculation and amounts already collected. Keep collection separate from statutory filing and remittance.
Calculate and collect tourist tax →For a direct booking, agree late checkout, parking, breakfast or another supported service before sending its payment link. Your team owns availability and approval; PayRequest is the collection step.
Confirm cleaning, next arrival and any third-party capacity. Do not sell a late checkout simply because a payment link can be created.
Record the service, date/time/zone, price, cancellation terms and booking reference. Obtain the guest’s agreement.
Create a payment link for the agreed extra with a recognizable reference. Do not call it a security-deposit authorization.
Check the completed payment, update the booking record and notify the person delivering the extra.
For fictional booking EXAMPLE-001, staff confirm a 14:00 departure on 9 November instead of 11:00. The guest accepts €30. Send a €30 link labelled with that booking and service. When payment is completed, record its provider reference, notify housekeeping and confirm the new time to the guest. A paid link alone does not update a PMS, smart lock or cleaner’s schedule.
Download the payment handoff templateBlank CSV for your own booking records, with one clearly labelled fictional example. Keep card numbers and sensitive guest data out of it.
“We can confirm checkout at [time/zone] on [date] for [price/currency], subject to [agreed terms]. Please use [payment link] with reference [booking]. We will confirm payment and update our booking record. Contact [business contact] if you need to change the arrangement.”
PayRequest payment links do not promise automatic inventory control, PMS synchronization, guest-registration reporting, smart-lock updates or AI upselling. Keep those functions in your existing systems. If a full guest suite or integrated PMS is what you need, compare that broader purchase first.
For platform bookings, follow the booking channel’s payment, fee-disclosure and deposit rules. An external link is not permission to move a booking or mandatory fee off-platform.
Read Airbnb’s payment transparency policyFree has a 2% standard platform payment fee, capped at €25 per transaction. Active Premium (€5/month) and Business (€20/month) have 0% standard platform fees. Provider fees, commission exceptions and separate deposit conditions remain applicable.
