Create recurring invoices or collect automatically through an eligible payment mandate. Verify the provider and mandate before the first renewal.
Hosting automation dependencies
Keep or replace the system responsible for cPanel/Plesk provisioning, service suspension and registrar modules. PayRequest is not a drop-in replacement for every WHMCS module.

Move billing in controlled stages
Inventory your current setup
List customers, currencies, tax rules, services, invoice balances, renewal dates and modules that control provisioning or suspension.
Check mandates and payment references
Confirm which provider owns each token or mandate. Do not assume a payment reference can be copied to a different account or platform.
Run a small pilot
Move one agreed customer group. Check invoice totals, portal access, reminders and the next payment. Keep historical invoices available.
Handover one billing owner
Record the final WHMCS charge and first PayRequest renewal for each customer. Disable only the old billing tasks you have replaced, and verify service events separately.

Can I keep WHMCS for hosting automation?
You can plan separate billing and provisioning responsibilities, but you need a defined integration and one billing owner. Do not assume payment, cancellation or suspension events synchronize automatically.
Will existing cards and SEPA mandates transfer automatically?
Not necessarily. Eligibility depends on the provider, account, mandate and integration. Confirm this before migration; some customers may need to authorize a new method.
