What paper sizes should my printable PDF support?+
At minimum, offer A4 and US Letter — A4 for European and international buyers, US Letter for American buyers. Either bundle both sizes in one download or clearly label which size each file supports, so buyers don't print a US Letter design onto A4 paper and get cut-off margins.
What resolution do I need so my printables don't look blurry when printed?+
Export at 300 DPI minimum. For US Letter that's roughly 2,550 × 3,300 pixels; for A4 it's about 2,480 × 3,508 pixels. Anything lower will look visibly soft or pixelated once printed, which is the single biggest cause of printable refund requests.
Should I sell PDF files, JPG files, or both?+
Both, if you can. A PDF preserves your exact layout and is harder to edit, which protects your design from casual reselling. A JPG gives buyers flexibility if they want to print through a local shop that doesn't accept PDF uploads.
How is selling on my own page different from selling on Etsy?+
Etsy charges a 6.5% transaction fee, payment processing fees, and a $0.20 listing fee per item, on top of optional advertising fees. PayRequest charges 2% per sale, capped at €25, with no listing fees — you share one link instead of maintaining a shop front.
