Why doesn't Stripe refund processing fees?
When you process a payment through Stripe, they charge a processing fee to handle the transaction. This fee covers the cost of fraud prevention, card network fees, and payment infrastructure.
When you issue a refund: The customer gets their full payment back, but Stripe has already paid the card networks and incurred costs. That's why they keep the original fee.
