What is an iDEAL payment link?
An iDEAL payment link is a URL you share with a customer that opens a branded checkout page pre-set to iDEAL. The customer clicks it and pays directly through their Dutch bank (ABN AMRO, ING, Rabobank, etc.) — no IBAN needed, no app download required.
What is a payrequest.me handle?
Your handle is your unique PayRequest payment page URL slug — for example, payrequest.me/jane-freelance. You set it in PayRequest → Settings → Payment Page. Dynamic links like ?method=ideal are appended to this base URL so customers land on your branded checkout.
Can I pre-select a payment method other than iDEAL?
Yes. Use the method dropdown above to pre-select Bancontact (Belgium), SEPA Direct Debit, or credit/debit card. The customer still sees all available methods at checkout and can switch — pre-selection just sets the default.
How much does an iDEAL payment cost?
Via Mollie, iDEAL typically costs €0.25 per transaction, plus PayRequest's 2% fee (capped at €25). For payments under €12.50, iDEAL is cheaper than most card payments. For high-volume users, PayRequest Business offers negotiated rates.
Can I send the same link to multiple customers?
