Limitations of Plain Telegram Share Links

  • No analytics — you can't see who opened the message or clicked the payment link
  • No automatic reminders if the customer doesn't pay
  • Each link is single-shot — you can't update the amount after sending
  • Customer experience depends entirely on the underlying payment provider
  • No branded payment page — opens whatever URL you paste
  • No way to attach an invoice PDF or receipt

Telegram Payment Link FAQ

How do I create a payment link on Telegram?

Paste your payment URL (Stripe, PayPal.me, PayRequest, etc.) into the generator above, set the amount and currency, and click Copy Link. The result is a t.me/share/url link that opens Telegram with the payment URL and message pre-filled — your contact pays in their normal checkout flow.

Can you actually accept payments inside Telegram?

Telegram itself supports bot-based payments through providers like Stripe, but most businesses share a payment link instead — it's faster to set up and works across all clients without coding. This generator creates a share link that opens Telegram with your payment URL ready to send.

Is the Telegram share link tracked or analytics-enabled?

The t.me/share/url link itself isn't tracked. If you need to know who opened and paid, use a PayRequest payment link as the underlying URL — PayRequest tracks every view, click, and payment automatically and sends reminders if the link isn't paid.

Does Telegram charge fees for payment links?

Telegram itself doesn't charge anything for share links — the only fees come from your payment provider (Stripe, PayPal, etc.). PayRequest charges 2% per successful payment (capped at €25/transaction) on top of provider fees.

Can I send the same Telegram payment link to multiple customers?

Yes — but only if the underlying payment URL supports multiple payments. PayPal.me handles, PayRequest static links, and Stripe Payment Links can be reused. If you need one link per customer, generate a fresh payment URL for each and create a new Telegram share link.
