Package the Brush Set Buyers Expect
Procreate supports sharing an individual brush and exporting brush sets. For a paid pack, keep the original names clear and ship one tested folder or ZIP containing:
- the native .brushset file, or clearly labelled individual .brush files;
- a short installation PDF with the supported Procreate and iPadOS versions you tested;
- a specimen sheet showing real strokes at useful sizes;
- the commercial-use license in a durable text or PDF file;
- a version number and support address.
Apple's current Procreate Artists' Handbook explains the native share flow. Treat that as the format source; do not rename a ZIP to .brushset or promise compatibility you have not tested.
Use a Preview That Proves the Product
A buyer cannot judge a brush from a decorative cover alone. Show the same brush at light and heavy pressure, a clean edge, a textured fill and one finished illustration. Label which result came from which brush.
Do not publish the complete high-resolution brush source as the preview. A flattened specimen image demonstrates the outcome without becoming the product itself.
Write a License for the Actual Buyer Decision
Separate what buyers may create from what they may redistribute. A practical brush license answers:
